Brisbane soldiers farewelled for afghanistan tour
Brisbane’s Ministry of Defence has been forced to recall its planned tour because there was no information available on what it would bring.
The defence spokeswoman said the Army had to re-examine its plans to host the visit after it took off due to concerns the Afghan troops would not be able to respond effectively to any military exerc더킹카지노ise during the training operation.
She did not elaborate.
A statement released by Defence Minister David Johnston said the Defence Force’s plans for the Afghanistan tour were based on an assessment conducted by the department’s staff, which had included an assessment of the risks associated with operating in and around Afghanistan as well as its expectations regarding the response in that country during a military exercise.
Defence said the assessment, which had been in the works for a while, had been modified after a range of assessments by all sides including the United Nations, and that the Department of Defence had also consulted with other relevant agencies to assess the operation’s effect on operations and training across the military’s global and regional presence.
